Bircher Muesli withFresh Fruit and Seeds

Breakfast on the run


Ingredients

4 cups rolled oats
600 ml Devondale Fresh Cream Full milk
100 ml apple juice
1 lemon zested then juiced
200 gm dried apple diced
2 tbsp Maple syrup
½ teaspoon ground cinnamon
1 cup pot set natural yoghurt
1 punnet blueberries
1 punnet raspberries
½ cup sunflower seeds
½ cup Pepitas
2 tbsp chia seeds


Directions

  1. Combine oats, milk, juice, lemon, apple, maple and cinnamon in a mixing bowl.
  2. Leave covered overnight in the fridge (keeps for up to one week).
  3. In the morning add the bircher mix to a small bowl or jar then add yoghurt, berries and top with mixed seeds and extra milk if desired
