Stack of Pikelets


Ingredients

1 1/4 cups self-raising flour
1 tbsp caster sugar
3/4 cup Devondale Full Cream Fresh Milk
1 tbsp melted Devondale Extra Soft Butter Spread
1 egg
Salt, pinch


Directions

  1. Sift flour and sugar together into a bowl with a pinch of salt. In a separate bowl whisk together milk and egg, until combined. Add to dry ingredients and whisk until smooth.
  2. Heat a frypan over medium heat and brush with a little melted butter. Drop level tablespoons of the mixture into the pan and cook until bubbles appear on the surface.
  3. Turn pikelets over and cook other side for 1 minute until golden.
  4. Allow to cool. Serve with butter, honey and berries.
