Waffles with Caramel Sauce


Ingredients

1 packet of store bought waffles
80g Devondale Unsalted Butter
1 cup sugar
250ml Long Life Thickened Cream
Extra Devondale Long Life Thickened Cream, to serve
Your choice of fruits, to serve


Directions

  1. Melt the butter in a saucepan over medium high heat. Add the sugar and cook, stirring occasionally, until sugar is melted and mixture is a deep amber color (about 4 to 6 minutes).
  2. Remove from heat. Gradually stir in cream.
  3. Return to heat and cook until smooth, about 2 minutes.
  4. Heat waffles gently, top with cream and your choice of fruit, drizzle caramel sauce generously over and serve.
